Saturday 6th of May was the opening of the Netball season  at the Papakura Netball Centre at Bruce Pulman Park.



The day started with the annual traditional dress parade, with 138 senior collegiate, intermediate, juniors and 180 future ferns players. The days celebrations were highlighted by the presence of dignitaries, Manurewa MP Louisa Wall, Auckland City Counselor Sir John Walker & Daniel Newman, Papakura local board chair Brent Catchpole, Katrina Winn & Bruce and Jessie Pulman, they witnessed the joy on players faces as they got to play their first game for the season inside the new 29 Million sports stadium.
